Tenerife
Eric Ennion and his wife Dorothy spent January and February 1961 on Tenerife, looking after an ornithological research station at Bajamar on the northeast coast. A comprehensive illustrated account of their trip is in preparation.
Can you help with any of the missing pieces?
We are keen to locate any Eric Ennion artwork which relates to Tenerife and also any of Eric Ennion’s writings about Tenerife other than the Countryman’s Log articles in Farm & Country and Eric and Dorothy’s paper Early Breeding on Tenerife which appeared in the Ibis in 1962. We know that Eric wrote at least one other piece – dealing with the resident warblers – but so far we have been unable to trace it.
